Ruby on Rails Developer (m/f/d)
To further develop the DuelDonkey platform, we are looking for a very experienced (“senior”) Ruby on Rails developer to join our tech team.
Your training or studies doesn't matter, we look at what you can do and how you work. You live "getting things done" - no task is too big for you, even if the subject matter is new, you work on new features independently from the concept to the live version.
This is how we work at DuelDonkey:
- Bullshit-free zone: Small teams, flat hierarchies and productive work are more important to us than hours-long meetings.
- Responsibility: Everyone in the team is responsible for their area and can make decisions independently.
- Freedom: Are you most productive at night or would you like to work remotely? No problem, what counts for us are results and no compulsory attendance.

Your profile:
- You are a senior Rails developer with experience in other companies and startups
- You are familiar with the technologies in our stack: Heroku, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, git, AWS
- You can connect and develop RESTful APIs
- You know that clean and tested code is just as important as healthy pragmatism
- You are familiar with testing, CI and security, but you also always pay attention to an intuitive user experience in your development
- You are a passionate gamer yourself and would like to work professionally in the gaming industry
Performance / Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d)
If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

Community Manager (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team. If you are a gamer with experience in social media, PR and promotional events then we would like to meet you.
Your training or studies doesn't matter, we look at what you can do and how you work. You live “getting things done” – no task is too big for you, even if the subject matter is new, you work on new features independently from the concept to the live version.
Ultimately, you should also be able to act as the face and voice of DuelDonkey and handle all communication with the community.

- Ideally, you have already worked as a community manager or been active in various gaming communities
- You have experience in building communities (e.g. setting up social media channels, starting an ambassador program, creating Discord channels, etc.)
- You can identify and track relevant community metrics
- You can communicate well and strike the right tone
- You love helping others and improving things
- You have general knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- You are a passionate gamer yourself and would like to work professionally in the gaming industry
